The Scarf Dilemma
Oh the scarf! Everyone owns a few.....but not everyone wears them! I have been a "scarfie" since I was a teenager. At first it was to hide the hickies on my neck.....then trooping around Europe without a bath for days...they came in handy as head gear. On the beach in Malta without my swimsuit....no problem....bring out the scarf. I once got tangled in a faux tree on a first date....too many scarves! I will never forget my date's face.....how many scarves does she have on? We later married.....but that's another story.
A scarf keeps the sun off of your neck at the beach......gets you into the Vatican....and once I had a student fall down a flight of steps at a painting workshop I was teaching in Mexico.....my big scarves....the perfect sling! And she looked good too!
If you wear a lot of black ......like I do.....scarves can really change things up. Scarves bring color around your face.......and we all need a little color! You can hide in them....let them flow behind you.....even......keep you warm!
